    Hi,

    I am the owner of Optin 3 and I installed today the latest trial of Optin 4 (DNN 04.09.03). If it works ok, I will upgrade immediately.

    First of all I noticed that in the settings part there were a lot of Labels/Words missing. See here

    I checked the language files: It seems that evertyhing is there. 

    Next question: When I add the simple optin to my startpage, it will be somewhere in the middle of the page on the right side. If someone subscribes, the page will be loaded and shows the top of the page: The Message that the susbscription has been received is only visible if somebody scroll to the middle of the page. Is it either possible that the message loads per Ajax or that a new confirmation page will be loaded?

    Martin,

    Hi. Sorry you are running into problem with the trial. I know that the issue with the localization resources missing on a few items was fixed however we typically release trials for the major releases and not every patch/update. If needed you can contact us directly and ill get you an updated trial version. Otherwise, you should be able to test this on www.betasprings.com (login as host/dnnhost). The latest version (Standard or Enterprise) is 04.20.30 which includes all known patches and hot fixes.

    I do know that there is the ability to enable/disable AJAX within the module configuration so I think this should fix your issue for #2 as well. You should be able to test this on www.betasprings.com as well.

    you were very quick in answering my mail when I said I want to buy it.

    I trusted you, bought the module, only to find out that your promise that this issue had been solved with the commercial version was not true.

    Moreover you decided to not answer my requests here.

    Your software is painful to use, if the labels are missing.

    I am waiting now for almost a week, and I promise that I will take action by tomorrow if you still to decide to sell buggy products and not taking care of customer concerns.

    Very sorry for late response here... I know we exchanged conversations are are working with you directly through the support ticket system. Just a heads up to anyone for the community forums.. we do not always monitor form threads directly

    From what I can tell, this situation was related to installing and upgrading the from 3.x installation to the 4.x installation however the files under the app_localresources were never getting replace during the installation. IF anyone else is having this problem please check the file dates under app_localresources within the desktopmodules\opt in modules.

    My first thought was that maybe the read-write (and more specifically overwrite) permissions were not defined on the server however I am not able to confirm that at all.... Just doesn't make sense as this has not come up before.
