    Hi,

    My site allows users to enter the site via email only and this works properly but on password reminder (on submits) the textbox changes my email address to my users name.  is there a way to keep it displaying the email address, just don't want to confuse users.. thanks.

    Vince

    I was trying the same code without success. I am new to jQuery but I found other code samples that suggested the code should refer to the input fields within the div, so I used

    "divname input" instead of just "divname"

    In fact in my particular case I had nothing else on the form so I could be more general and clear all the input fields:

    That's working for me.

    jQuery('input').val("");

    OK your form must be more complicated than mine. Sounds like you need to be more specific than I did, so have a look at jQuery selectors. You can specify the text fields which are enabled, for instance, something like

    jQuery('input:text :enabled').val("")

    I am not an expert on jQuery, but I found syntax info at http://api.jquery.com
