    Hi again,

    I'm trying the Login with Redirect and need some help.

    Basically, I have an account that after Login stays on the Login Page and doesn't redirect.

    Where should I check the configuration ?

    FYI,

    After login, the url has redirection to the Login Page ? instead of the Role based redirection ?

    I went to Admin > User Accounts > User Settings Link and set the Login Redirect to the Login Page with Dynamicl Login on it. Is that correct ?

    Hi again,

    I tried setting up Dyn Login on my laptop DNN 5.2.2 and still cannot get the redirect to work.
    I don't see where anyone else is having a similiar problem.

    I would appreciate an answer, as I am unable to move forward with my project !

    Well,

    I found this old post saying that a special patch to fix the redirect problem was made in 3.0.1.

    I'm using Dynamic Login 3.1 Trial on DNN 5.2.2.

    HI, you need to set different priority numbers for each of your redirection based on roles. Change the priority from default of all "0" to say 10,20,30 for each of the role redirection. -- David

    Hi,

    Still no success here. Redirect is not working for me.

    Here's more of what I have tried.

    I tried using the default DNN Skin to see if there might be some Javascript conflicts.

    I tried the Dyn Login module on DNN 495

    I tried the Dyn Login module on DNN 522

    I read the User Guide

    I've searched/reviewed posts on this forum.

    HI, I will need to check on the trial version of Dynamic Login to see if it is fixed in the trial. I know the release version works. You can test it out at www.betasprings.com (username: host, password: dnnhost). -- David

    HI, redirection should work fine with the dynamic login trial. I've just verified it with Rob Hill website. Can you use the contact us on the left pane and shoot us the Host login info with URL/TABID of the dynamic login page? Also reference this forum and we can quickly take a look at your website settings? Thanks. -- David

    HI Paul, it's working fine. In the trial version, you have to click on the intermediary page "continue" link. In the release version, this page won't come up. -- David

    Hi David,

    Thanks for the explanation on how the Trial Version doesn't redirect unitl you click on the "Continue..." link on the Login page.

    I had hoped this would be explained much more clearly because I was "expecting"  to be redirected automatically and didn't even see the Continue link !
