File Attachment/Upload field contents disappear during validation

    I have created a form that includes several fields, including three file attachment/upload fields. If an error is found during validation, the field contents disappear and the user must start over again. How can I avoid this?

    I'm using both client-side and server-side validation with several required fields and a couple of regular expressions.

    DNN 5.1 and DF 3.0.10

    Appreciate your assistance!

    HI, I don't know of a way to reserve the file upload on a postback when validation kicks in. I will discuss this with Chad and see if this is an easy enhancement request for future updates. -- David

    HI, I just verified this with Chad and image/file uploads do not keep their contents on a page postback due to security of ASP.NET in relation to these field types so there's no way to fix this issue currently. -- David
