I just created a registration form and when I attempt to register, The form does a postback, but I get no redirect to my success page, and the user is not registered.

The problem is that there is *no* error message displayed whatsoever.  The page just keeps posting back to itself.

All of my validations work.  I tested them individually, so it's not a case of an invisible validation message.

How do I go about troubleshooting this?

    Jim,

Hi. Until you figure out whats causing the problem I would go ahead and still uncheck the client and server side validation settings under general settings just to keep that out of the hat...
    A few things.

    1. Under General Settings do you have something specified for 'Redirection after Registration' and 'Redirect after update'.
    2. Although it does not redirect if you go back into it does it show that the use was registered or update the registration information?
    3. Have you specified fields under DNN Core Integration and so forth?

Thats a few 'what if's' for now, let me know about these. Any other general configurations or specific field types such as File Upload?

    -Chad

I turned off client and server validation - no luck.

I have a redirect to a page with all users access after registration. Both for new and updated registrations.  The user is still not being created.  I have the "Test mode" checkbox unchecked.

I have all of the fields except 2 linked to DNN core fields.

Jim, go ahead and open a support ticket on Snowcovered for this and we will follow up ont he post once its been resolved. If you can provide temporary edit rights to the module in the support ticket that would be great, I would like to possibly add a test page with just the core basic fields and implement the registration page until the issue is resolved. It also makes a difference what version of DNN you are running on and so forth.

I'm having the same problem - I rebuilt the form completely and everything worked until I added a question event - then it wouldn't register - when I removed the event it worked fine again - I hope this can be fixed soon

    Steve.

Hi - I've sent in two notes on this topic and this is another follow-up - it looks like I was wrong - it's not the dynamic question, but the file upload that stopped the form from working. I now have dynamic questions working, but no PDF download - Thanks, Steve.
