Hi,

Is it possible to have a form redirect to one of 2 pages based on a field value being equal to (or not) a value in the database.

I have a zip code field on a form. When the user provides the value I want to query the database to see if that value exists. 

If it does I want to redirect to page A.

If the zip code does not exist i want to redirect to page B.

Yes, this can be done.  Try adding a hiden field where you add a True or False value based on the query.  Then create your redirect completion events based on a True or False response to this field.  Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply. 

However I haven't been successful trying this - should I create a question event to set the value of the hidden value, a form event or some other technique?

When I tried to add a question event I couldn't choose the zip code field I the zip code field didn't appear in the 'Initiation / Postback Question' dropdown list.

Hi Allen,

I may have spoken a little too soon.  Typically, if you have a combination of answers which represent one response (like if they choose Option 1, 2 or 3) you can create a client-side event in Advanced Field Options to set a hidden field value to TRUE and then fire off a redirect completion event based on this true response.

However, it doesn't work like that if you have to perform a query and then return with a value.  This kind of implementation is more complex and will need Premium Suppor Hours.  Let us know with a Contact Form if you want to go that route.  Thanks!
