    Hi,
    I have a form with a hidden field whos value should be set according to an action performed on a checkbox: give it a value of 1 if userd checked it, or a value of 2 if user unchecked it.
    Bases on this value, different completition events should be raised.
    It works fine, when the user checks an unchecked box, but not the other way round: when the box is checked and the user unchecks the box a postback is sent, but on commiting the form no completition event is raised.
    Anyone experienced a similar behaviour? Any ideas?
    your's

    HI, you may consider using client side javascript for this. On the checkbox field, under advance field options, use the following javascript:

    if ($(check))
    {$(HiddenField) = 1); }
    else
    {$(HiddenField) = 0);}

    NOTE: you need to use your shortname fields, not what I have. Also, place the same code under Module configuration - Module Layout / Javascript / Stylesheet and then choose Custom Javascript file and place the code also under Initial Javascript. Make sure to click on "Save Javascript" and the "update settings" at the bottom to save. See if this will work for you. -- David
