    Hi,

    I'm using DynReg 04.00.71 on a DNN 4.9.5 CHILD PORTAL.

    I'm using the basic DNN profile fields along with one custom field.

    I have created a custom profile property called SchoolDept.  In the module I use a Combo Box with SQL to populate the choices and map the combo box to my SchoolDept Custom Profile property. 

    I find that the module is not saving choice to the field. 

    I have done this before on a parent portal and it works, however when I try to do this in a child portal it does not work.  Has anyone run into this before?  Any suggestions to get this to work on my child portal?

    Hi Jerry,

    We started getting scattered reports about this issue with a combobox but we thought it was limited to DNN 5.4 and up.  We'll have to review this with your set up in mind.

    As a workaround, can you please switch this combobox to a listbox with Single Select and Row Numbers=1  and let us know if it saves the profile property correctly?

    Hi Candace,

    I have switched to use ListBox with SQL populating the field and it is working correctly. I would rather use the combo box...but can use ListBox until a fix is found.
