german language package doesn't load

    Hi,
    I' using "DataSprings_OptInEmai40_DNN45PLUS_PAINSTALL_64BITONLY.zip" on my portal but unfortunately I'm not able to load the german language package. When I' try to upload it I get an error message.

    Any suggestions how to solve this ?

    Hi. What is the error you are getting?

    Actually the 'Language Pack' if generated through our RESXTranslate.com system doesn't actually have an installation, you just need unzip the files generated under the DesktopModules\Opt In Email folders under App_LocalResources.

    I would unzip the file from our service and take a look at the files to get a better understanding for how it works.

    Hi,

    I'm not very expierienced in dnn so I just used the menu item in the administrator menu for languages.
    Now I copied the files via ftp into the folder you specified but still everything is in english ...
    I thank you for any helping hint what I did wrong.

    Hi,

    another problem occured, when I tried to update my (test)subscription. The mail was delivered, but when I click the provided link this error occurs.

    Well. Could you please pack the files according to their appropriate sub-directory. There are files, with the exact same filename, but there is no directory information in the zip.

    I have the same problem. I've copied the resx-files to the App_LocalResources directory, but it's still only in english. Do I have to do anything else?

    Hi Sven,

    I'm not sure if you were helped via email but I wanted to update this forum thread. The tool creating these is now working again. Please go to www.resxtranslate.com and run the wizard again after zipping up your app_localresource folder. The problem is that in the XML files its not adding in between the data tags.

    We are working on an updated wizard that will also include a .DNN manifest file which will actually then be able to be installed under host, extensiosions as a module language pack.
