    All was working fine about 2 weeks ago, then before I processed the latest email newsletter I installed the latest Optin email update “ DataSprings_OptInEmail43_60_DNN45PLUS_PAINSTALL_32BITONLY.” The job started at  2/29/2010 12:03 AM and run without a glitch until 9/29/2010 4:56:51 AM. This job sends approximately 25,000 emails.

    DNN version 4.9.4

     

    I don’t know what is causing this, we did have some other network issues earlier in September but this is the only issue remaining as of now. Any help in resolving this issue will be greatly appreciated.

    Description:

    When in Newsletter / Campaign Distribution Control Panel in Reports searching for newsletter reports this is what I get.

     

    “Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerServerErrorException: An unknown error occurred while processing the request on the server. The status code returned from the server was: 500”

     

    When on Opt-in Advanced Email I click View Reports I get

    Over the weekend discoveries.
    This newsletter email is one that I have been doings monthly and working beautifully since June.
    In September we had some network issues in the process we made some changes on IIS and setup the app pools for multiple web gardens, I don't know if this caused any problems with the module functionality, but it does cause major nuisance problems with DNN.
    In addition I update Optin email to the latest version DataSprings_OptInEmail43_60_DNN45PLUS_PAINSTALL_32BITONLY, the date is wrong on the previous post it started 9/29/2010 not February.

    This last email blast I found I had thousands email scheduled to go out more than once. I found that in the list cleanup.

    This email blast is usually about 24 thousand this time it was 32 thousand but i never added any emails nor we had 9 thousand new subscribers in a month.
    Is there a way to check the file for corruption? Wish there was a way to check politicians also.
    I am planning to rerun the job but I wanted to see if there is any way we can check the reliability of the data.
    I hope I did not confuse the situation, I really appreciate any help I can get.

    Hi Franc - The first error you posted appears to be a very generic timeout error with limited information.

    On this item "IIS and setup the app pools for multiple web gardens" do you know if you have multiple app pools / IIS virtual directories running for the same DNN installation? If so you might have issues where the schedule is kicking off multiple times.
