    I posted something related to this in the Opt in forums.  We have a hanging 'Processing..." bar that is causing significant slowness.  I caught the code here:

    Hi Meredith - thanks for posting this here (I think its really a seperate issue then the other post).

    First - this has more to do with Dynamic Registration then it does with Opt In Email. Basically anywhere you have a 'Postback' that would occur such as a question event or something you should see a nice friendly 'jQuery Processing' message instead of actually seeing a full browser refresh etc... If needed we can jump on a quick call tomorrow to go over the page where you are having the problem.

    I would start with making sure you have the latest Dynamic Registration version w/ patch. I believe this would be 04.00.71. You can also go under module configuration, AJAX/jQuery and chosoe to 'Disable jQuery Message' and this should disable the jQuery pop up message.

    So does it actually just hang? I guess the real issue is if this is actually hanging or if its something else causing it to hang and this is just the processing message? Either way send me over a quick email with some credentials and ill check it out.

    Thanks, CHad. I think the problem is solved - I didn't have everything disabled - although load time is about the same. At least there is no bar across the page. Do you think there is a load/performance issue that needs to be solved? I do have the proper version. Thanks for the help!

    Chad,

    I'm having the same issue with Dynamic forms in the control panel. The page loads behind the processing modal, but it blocks the UI.

    We just upgraded to DNN 6.3.1.
    I also just upgraded our DF to 4.1, but issue still hangs out.

    Please help, need to make a slew of form edits on a slew of forms.

    Hi Ben,

    Do you mean Dynamic Registration or Dynamic Forms? You said DF 4.1 but do you mean DR 4.1?

    Just make sure to go into the control panel and choose "Disable jQuery" within the module configuration / AJAX and jQuery configuration area.

    No it's dynamic forms:
    Ver:4.0.11.16442 / 6.1.3

    Secondly, there seems to be a bug and the disable jquery, as it doesn't save. Figured it was another jquery/javascrpt issue, but have tried mutlple skins with and without jquery.

    Please email me direct, and will let you have any access you need to troubleshoot.

    Hi Ben,

    Please open a support ticket and we will research what issue is causing the problem. So far we only have limited reports of this but 6.1.3 is very new so we will have to research this on a test environment. If you have an open support ticket we can reference this there and come back to this thread with what we ended up needing to do.

    Chad,

    Thanks for the troubleshooting assistance. Turns out it was a conflict with the CKeditor. Simply updating the html editor to the telerik editor resolved the issue completely.
