Hi,
I was wondering what the process is if a user doesn't receive their validation email/code to get them logged in?
ie. How can you make DR resend this email?
Thanks

Hi Craig,
Let me point you to this old forum thread on the Verification Code. Thanks!

Hi Candace, Thanks for the link, and the information. Are you suggesting DR doesn't have the ability to check if someone has already tried to register and resend this email somehow? That link tells me how to find out the Verification Code, which is great, as a manual fix. I need a long term solution that doesn't require me to look up the userid and send the email manually. Let me know. Thanks C |

Hi Craig, No, not really. If they didn't receive the verification code, I imagine there's a problem with the email address to begin with so it would be best to manually investigate. You could offer a Dynamic Forms module where they can request a resend by entering their username and if that exists, then an email will automatically go out to the email address on file. However, again, if the email address is incorrect, they still won't receive it. This scenario does not typically occur in high frequency in similar implementations. Do you think this will be an issue for your site? Thanks! Candace |

Candace, Most sites I visit tell me if I am already registered and offer me a "forgot password" option, or if I am awaiting a verification email it offers to resend it, with a page suggesting email sent to xxx@xxxx.xxx so you know what email it went to, and can see if it is wrong. I have setup a redirect with a Querystring of the $(email) field so they know where the email went to. A not on this, it does not urlencode the querystring so when I use an email address like xx+yy@gmail.com it puts a space instead of the + on this page, would this potentially be an issue? Mind it hasn't been in the past, I have had it send emails successfully. |

Hi Craig,
Let me look into this a bit more. Not sure if there's a workaround without customization but I'll let you know if I find anything. I'll also pass your comments about the url encode to the dev team. Thanks!
