What I am trying to do is have two questions writing to one field.

On my site there are two tupes of users, Professional and Enuthusiast.  I have two different list boxes, one for each, that displays industry options.

For instance if you click on Professional, a list appears to choose from (Police, MMA, Self-Defense, etc.).  If you choose Enthusiast, a different list appears.

Also, each list has a "other" option, which displays a text box for them to enter.

What I am trying to do is have both lists and "other" text boxes all write to one user profile field.  That way I can use one token in the User Directory to display this information.  It's a peice of data coming from four possible places, but it all means the same thing.

If i point the four to the same userfield, only the last one I point will actually write to it.

If I use different fields, then if they update it later, the directory will display multiple things.

IE.      Industry: [ProfessioanlIndustry] [EnthusiastIndustry] [ProfOther] [EnthOther]

What I want in the Directory is   Industry:  [Industry]

With all four questions writing to [Industry]

    Hi Corey,

How about having a separate Industry textbox on your form mapped to the DNN profile property.  Then, add client side events in the  $(ProfessioanlIndustry), $(EnthusiastIndustry), $(EnthOther) to write the value to this new $(Industry) field.  Once it's working correctly, you can switch this to a hidden field type.  Then over at your Dynamic User Directory, you can just use [Industry] in your templates.

Hope that works out for you.  Thanks!
