Is it possible to have a listbox of links displayed and then the selected link is followed when the user clicks submit? Perhaps it is obvious but I haven't found the answer yet! Thanks in advance! |

Hello Jabutt,
i think its possible.
Use Form Completion Events for that with Event Type: = URL / Page Redirection and for the LinkTypeURL you have to use something like http://'$(myURL)'

Alrighty, works like a charm... kind-of... I can get the links all set up right and the target files are in a folder under the site root. Now, if I generate a list of links in a table as the result it uses this LinkClick.aspx?filetag etc... but if I have the link as the value of the combo box (ie/ folder/folder/file.htm) it follows it but the site won't show it. I assume that this is some sort of site admin thing or am I possibly setting up the link incorrectly?
Thanks! |

For some reason if there is a space in a folder name there is a '+' symbol going in there. Any thoughts? |

please show us a URL from your database.
Is your URL like
"/portal/0/MySite.aspx"
or
www.anothersite.com"
in case 2 you can try to make the url with http://
like " http://www.anothersite.com" |

It would fit this pattern
/portal/0/stuff/1 - 10/file.htm
but of course it shows up as:
/portal/0/stuff/1+-+10/file.htm
Then if I manually remove the '+' from the address bar it displays no problem.
except for some minor hiccups I am impressed with what you can do with this product.

Why does your URL has " " an empty space?
I think you do this in your SQL:
/portal/0/stuff/1-10/file.htm

Unfortunately I didn't set up the directory structure and it would be quite time consuming to go through and remove the spaces. I can get the total address displaying just fine, it's just the '+' that are messing things up for me. You would think that it would just put in %20 instead of + |

Well, removing the spaces was the only good way to go, so that's what I did. Now it all works fine! Thanks for the help! |
