Hi Chad,
Afraid I'm not having much success with this.
As an example, I have radio buttons with Short Name of $(TIMEShard)
If one of the options has the 'Option Text' of 1 Hour and the 'Option Value' of 42.00, how do I ensure that the Option Text (ie '1 Hour') is displayed? (I don't want the value 42.00 to be displayed.)
As a test within my form, I have Client side Event code that calculates any totals correctly (as derived from your Demo20 form) and I've added the following to try and 'get hold of' the Option Text, populate a hidden field with it and then (as a test) to display that 'Text' in a Text/HTML field thus:
{
if ($(TIMEShard) == '42.00') {
$(TurnAroundHardTextHidden) = '1 Hour';
}
else
if ($(TIMEShard) == '38.00') {
$(TurnAroundHardTextHidden) = '4 Hour';
}
else
if ($(TIMEShard) == '30.00') {
$(TurnAroundHardTextHidden) = 'Next Day';
}
else
if ($(TIMEShard) == '24.00') {
$(TurnAroundHardTextHidden) = '3 Days';
}
else
if ($(TIMEShard) == '21.00') {
$(TurnAroundHardTextHidden) = '5 Days';
}
document.getElementById('radioFieldTextTest1').innerHTML = 'Your chosen Option Text
is (should be text not a number): ' + $(TurnAroundHardTextHidden) + '';
}
It's not showing anything? Am I missing something here please?
I figured that if I get the Option Text to populate my test here I could then use the hidden field value to carry across to the Summary page by retrieving the session variable of TurnAroundHardTextHidden. Is that the right way to go about it?
Thanks
