    Hi folks,

I have multiple forms that I'm trying to stitch together as a multi-step process. Additionally, values returned (options) are dependent on what the user provides in the previous step(s). I'm retrieving the options from the database via stored procedures with the user's selections as parameters.

I'm inserting the data from the first form (step 1) into my database along with the UCID. I'm also passing the UCID as a session variable and retrieving it on my 2nd form (step 2) and can see the proper ID displayed when I pull it into a text box. My issue is trying to pass it as a parameter for a stored proc in a question event on my 2nd form. In debug mode its showing the UCID value of all zeros. The reason I need it as a parameter is to pull back certain data based on what the user provides in step 1, hence writing that data to the database.

Why wouldn't I be able to use the UCID as a parameter and is there a better way to do what I'm trying to do (I.e. passing step one values as session variables and alleviate the need for writing the step 1 answers to the database)? Please note that one of the step 1 fields is a free-form text box so I'm not sure if that makes a difference in the design.

Any help you can give me is very much appreciated, as I'm required to have this project done next week.

    Thanks,
    DB

    Hello Doug,

Demonstration 31 has been fixed and there is now a link to download the .xml files so you can import this demonstration onto your site. Of course it won't work because you won't have the same tables and such.

Please follow this link and see how the demonstration works:

    Thanks,
