    Hi,

    I have a registration form where there is a fixed registration price ($190) and a list/menu with a number of donation amounts. I would like to display the total on the page and email it to myself and the user. I've been trying to use the following client side event to display it but it doesn't work. Here's what I did:

    Added to the donation field client side event:

    $(total) = (parseInt($(Donation)) + 190.00);
    document.getElementById('TotalCombo').innerHTML = 'Your total comes to:  ' formatCurrency($(total)) '';

     Created text/html field:

    Short name is "TotalCombo" and includes:

    total

    Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

    Hello Skadera,

    Do you have a question field on the form with the short field name "total" or "Total"??

    This is case-sensitive so when you reference a token -- > $(Total) a token is basically   document.getElementById(Total).value compressed together.

    So make sure you use the correct short field name since total and Total are completely different values, according to "t" and "T" having different ASCII values.

    If you have any questions please let us know.

    Thanks,

    Ryan

    Hi Skadera,
    Just like Ryan stated, do you have a question field called total?
    If not create one...remember, exactly type it out the same way you define it.

    Also, in your text/html field called TotalCombo, in the HTML view of it, it should look like this:
    (h2 id="TotalCombo")Your total is: $0.00(/h2)

    Note: the left and right parenthesis's in the syntax I gave you replace it with the left and right angle brackets, respectively <>.  I did this because this editor will actually think I am defining an element.  The h2 tag can be changed to whatever you would like to use.  This is just an example they used in their DEMO.

    Hope this helps.
