We have found a few issues, either bugs or over sights, working with the forms. If the latter, please let me know where we are wrong.

    1. With Form Completion Events; once a Page/URL Redirect Event is created, any attempt to edit it afterwards results in an error “Object reference not set to an instance of an object.”. This happens for both freshly created and imported forms.
    2. When importing forms, all required fields lose their Required Field value. They retain Error messages and Error Text, but the checkbox gets unchecked.
    3. As described here: http://www.datasprings.com/Products...fault.aspx

I know you guys are busy with the new release (which sounds great!) but these bugs are really interrupting our development.  Could they be addressed sooner than later?

No reply or acknowledgement in nearly three weeks - is there a better place/way to report issues?

    Lance,

Hi. Yes the most up to date release is 2.3.7 so as long as you are running on that you have the latest version. We are familiar with the IPORTABLE required field checkbox not getting set correctly and have it on the list during the 2.5 release. We have posted the Dynamic Forms roadmap for the next release which is only a few weeks away.

As far as the other issue, this is a bug if you do not select 'Any Response' or any dynamic field that will prompt the dynamic event. As long as you specify either a dynamic response or a dynamic field to fire the response (which it should be required) then the issue doesn't occur.

And where can 2.3.7 be downloaded? The latest release available on Snowcovered in the Patches & Hotfixes is the 2.3.5 patch.

I'm using 2.3.7 and I've found some bugs that hopefully are addressed in the newer version 2.5 that I've read about.

When passing a variable via the querystring AND using the form completion page redirect event, the variable is appended to the page url with an ampersand rather than a question mark causing the page to not load. I had to change to passing the variable with session variables to get by this, but I'd prefer using the querystring.

This is a small one, but I've created a form that allows the user to enter a series of identical 'records' on a single form. I utilized some sql to create the extra question records for me. The sort order field can handle much larger number than the admin UI supports. Because of this, I can't edit my records with higher sort order numbers. I haven't figured out the limit, but it's annoying because if I edit a question it screws up my entire layout. Should be a simple fix to make the sort order handle larger numbers. On a related note, is there an easier way to build a form that has a series of repeated question sets?

    Thanks,

    David
