I have the latest version of Dynamic View. I have about 8 forms to choose from in the data source properties. I select Dynamic Forms Instance and select the one I want to use. When I save or try to generate columns, it reverts to the first form in the list.
Thanks,
Mike

Hello Mike,
Can you please go to Host -> SQL and run this query:
alter Procedure {databaseOwner}[{objectQualifier}DataSprings_DynamicViews_LoadDynamicForms]
@PortalID Int
AS
Select A.ModuleID, A.ModuleTitle + ' / ModuleID: ' + Cast(A.ModuleID as nvarchar(7)) As ModuleTitle from {databaseOwner}[{objectQualifier}Modules] A
Inner Join {databaseOwner}[{objectQualifier}TabModules] B on A.ModuleID = B.ModuleID
Where ModuleDefID In (Select ModuleDefID from {databaseOwner}[{objectQualifier}ModuleDefinitions] where FriendlyName like '%Dynamic Forms%')
AND PortalID = @PortalID
AND A.IsDeleted =0
Please let me know if this helps fix this problem.
Thanks,
Ryan

No, same issue. I don't get the sense that when I select the form to use that it is going back to the database. At least there is no discernable lag time. |

Hello Mike,
Can you please let me know the exact version of Dynamic Views that you're running?
Go to Host -> Module Definitions and you can check in this area. Is it Dynamic Views 2.0, or a patch etc...
Thanks,
Ryan

I am also having the same problem where the drop-down in the form list keeps reverting back to the first one. |

Hello THS,
Can you please send me host credentials to your site, I will need a host user name, host password, and the URL to your site. This way I'll be able to login and fix the issue. It has to do with the Stored Procedure, LoadDynamicForms.
If you have any questions please let me know.
Email the credentials to: rbakerink(at)datasprings(dot)com
Thanks,
Ryan
