Hello,
I just installed login and login authentication. I am interested in facebook integration. I am sure this was a naive thought, but I was hoping to see a connect to facebook button yes or no option.
I am sure I am off a bit but can you tell me how far off I am. I see it now on this site.

I am very interested in this! Can you tell us a little about how this will work?
Also, would like to be able to Post to FB from a DR or DF form, will this be possible? This would be a killer feature for me. |

Hello Dad and Steve,
Yes, we're very excited for the next release because of the FB component. We're still testing but basically, you will be able to offer a FB Connect. If you're on FB and click on it, it will automatically log you into the site. You'll see this demonstrated on our home page and login www.datasprings.com
Here are additional comments from Chad:
Yes. If the user doesn't exist it will create a username for them including their firstname, last name, email etc... There will be options in the future for pulling in other optional data. The feature can integrate with Dynamic Registration and Dynamic Forms too by sending out a silent HTTP Post that those modules can receive and process if you wanted to have a more custom registration, add them to roles, etc... Pretty sweet.

Yes... We are ALL very excited about this  The module can optionally post to the users wall as well with a link, image, and message after they sign in. You can specify that you want the message posted to their wall never, just the first time, or based on the number of days (for example if the number was set to 90 and the user signed in 10 times the first 90 days it would only post to their wall once..... then if they signed in again on day 91 it would post to their wall again and reset the counter). You should be able to demo this now by signing in... -Chad |

Hi Steve, We're as excited as you are and are working hard to get it released this week (hopefully). Unless we come across a major bump in the road, we intend to roll it out in 2 - 5 days. Thanks for your patience and I'm confident it will be worth the wait! |

As an owner of the Collection 4.0, you can simply log into your Snowcovered account and go to MyDownloads. You'll find all new updates in the Collection 4.0 download button such as the Dynamic Login 4.0. Thanks!

hi 4 th email,
im still trying to enable fbconnect, but have no option to do so under module config ,just under sql, is there somthing else i have to do, have the login redirect sorted ,just need to get this done now to move on,
