Hi, I can create new fields with the Wizard. However, then I cannot edit a field or add a new field using Manage Fields. When a change is submitted and Update Field is clicked, "Processing..." displays for a about a minute, then goes away. No change takes effect. It is also not possible to even "Exit" the Manage Fields page; it just leaves me there. I have spoken with hosting service and they have moved to a fill trust plan and then also asked me to rebuild and reorganize all indexes to no avail. A five minute ping gives good results. DNN 5.06.01 and Dynamic Forms 3.40.41. The DNN istall has been upgraded in past. All other modules work fine. Any advice is welcome. Thanks! |

I would disable AJAX in DF. There could be a conflict. When I run into this issue, I always create a clean page, remove all other modules and just try a simple add field exercise. I have still have issues, I switch that page to the default skin to see if that fixes it. I hope that helps. |

Hi Chris, Thanks for the input. I have tried your suggestions including disabling AJX and using a default DNN skin, creating a new page without other modules. Regretfully, I am having the same problems. I can select to "Manage Questions" from the control panel. The page opens with fields to update the question. However, I still get the one to two minutes of "Processing..." followed by no change and the same question update page. Even if I try to click on "Exit" I get the "Processing..." and a long pause and end up on the same Question update page. I do appreciate your thoughts and ideas. Bill |

Hello Bill,
Do you have any other Third Party module instances on the same page of your Dynamic Forms?? If so, what modules exist on this page??
Do you get any errors on the page in which this Dynamic Form's instance resides?? Sounds like there may be errors on the page with jQuery conflicts.
If you have any questions please let me know.
Thanks,
Ryan

Hi Ryan and Chris, It seems that a combination of disabling AJAX and Jquery along with talking further with tech support at CrystalTech hosting about their firewalls solved things. I appreciate the help from both of you. It could be that a firewall issue was at the heart of things. Thanks, Bill |
