    Hello,

    I am usin DF 3.40.41.  I am trying to figure out how to access the selected value from a combo box that is populated with SQL.

    The code listed below basically came from Demo 20.  The short name of the combo box is "RefiAmt", and it is being populate with the following SQL statement:  SELECT LoanAmt as QuestionOption, ResidentialUrb as QuestionsOptionValue FROM PSS_URBRates

    Listed below is my code that would be found in the "Client Side Event" found in the "Advance" section:

    $(RLPHidden) = parseInt($(RefiAmt));

    { $(GrandTotalHidden) = formatCurrency(eval(parseInt($(RLPHidden)))) document.getElementById('GrandTotal').innerHTML = 'Grand Total: ' + formatCurrency($(GrandTotalHidden)) + ''; }

    The client side event gets excuted because I see my "GrandTotal" HTML field changes when the combo selection changes.

    If I don't use SQL to populate the combo, the code above works perfectly...so, I must be missing something simple.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance,
    -Shane

    Hi. That is interesting... So everything works great when you add these options with the standard add method but not the SQL?

    I think I see your problem

    You are pulling in the text but not the value.

    Check your query...
    You are pulling in:
    QuestionsOptionValue
    Instead of:
    QuestionOptionValue

    There is an S after Questions and you don't need the S

    Bingo! That fixed the issue.

    Thanks again for the help!
