I have the latest version of Active Social 1.9.5 installed, as well as the most recent version of Active Forums 4.3.7 (the forums are required for Active Social).
The concept of the site is to match wedding couples with prospective vendors in Hawaii. So we have it setup like this. First, register with the site at a registration page using DynamicRegistration Version 4.10.43

    http://www.hawaiiweddingmatch.com/register.aspx

On this page they also answer a question "Are you a wedding couple or a wedding vendor?" They can choose "Couple or Vendor". They can then register which will auto-add them to the "Registered Users" security roles.
Based on their answer, we want to manually ad them to a security role called "Wedding Couple" or "Vendor".
We then want them to answer a series of questions based on their role. So if they're a prospective couple, they can go to the couple's page and answer a series of questions. On this page, I have setup another "Dynamic Registration" module, and have hidden the "Username" and "Password" fields under the DNN Core Integration- Advanced Core Integration options. This is their page.
    http://www.hawaiiweddingmatch.com/Register/CoupleRegistration.aspx

There is another similar page for vendors to answer similar questions, but their answers are identical, it's only the question that is changed...

Anyways, now when someone goes to try and edit their profile WITHIN Active Social, by going to their profile and clicking on "Edit Profile" there is an error. It's no longer working. I know that the DNN registration and the Active Modules registration are tied together somehow, but don't get it. Here's the error log in the site...

    Hi Paul,

I am not really sure as I havenot directly seen this myself. A few threads related to the error though do give us a pretty good idea for what is going on:
    http://www.activemodules.com/active...t-working/

These other threads might help as well:
    http://www.activemodules.com/active...t-profile/
    http://www.activemodules.com/activesocial/general/active-social-edit-profile-issue/

I honestly don’t know anything specifically in our module that might cause this problem, it sounds like maybe if you deleted some profile properties within DotNetNuke directly that this could cause a problem, or maybe a number of other issues… I would start with reviewing all of your profile fields under Admin, User Accounts, Manage Profile Properties. I don’t know if anything specifically our module would have done, our module can create profile properties and write to them but really beyond that we do not change anything with them and the error itself is coming from their module so we have limited options for how we can assist.

It does look to me like this started happening with DNN 6.1?

    Thanks,

    Chad
