    When you have a multi-column layout (add question to same row) and a question event that unhides more questions in subsequent sections, singleline text boxes are getting 'converted' (displayed) as multilinetext boxes as the hidden questions appear.

    For instance if you start with a basic layout like:

    Question 1:

     Selection

    Question 4:
    Selection

    		Question 2:
     Single Text

    Question 5
    Hidden
    		Question 3:
    Single Text

    Question 6:
    Hidden

    When question 4 is selected and it unhides question 5 and 6, questions 2 and 3 get changed during the event and the result page now looks like:

     

    Question 1:

    Selection

     
    Question 4:

    Selection

    		Question 2:

    Single Text (box expands to multiline).

     

    Question 5:
    Unhidden

    Question 3:

    Single Text (box expands to multiline).

     

    Question 6:
    Unhidden

    This is very odd... Can you export the module and import them into a page on www.betasprings.com so I can take a look at this. We are 'deep' in development on v2.5 so if a fix is needed we will probably get it fixed in that release. I can't duplicate this locally here though so I am curious to see your exact settings etc...

    Also, since you have a few posts here ill email you and maybe we can setup a go to meeting (specifically related to this and your other concerns on other posts related to the SQL Options on multi-select field types?)

    I can review this right way though if you can load it up on betasprings.
