Is there any limitation within Dynamic Forms that prevents the same PDF to go out on two totally different emails?

    To elaborate:
Radio buttons for three different buildings exist in the form.  Depending on the building selected, three different email completion events are evaluated (only one of which will prove true -as they look at the radio button option selected) sending out the email to correct person overseeing that building (with a DF PDF enclosed).

Then, as a final completion step, a second different email needs to go out (in all cases) with different text (but also including the original DF PDF).

The form application  (without the second email completion event) runs fine.  When the final email completion event is added (referencing the same PDF) ..the following error is generated...

Error: Dynamic Forms is currently unavailable. DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: The given path's format is not supported. ---> System.NotSupportedException: The given path's format is not supported. at System.Security.Util.StringExpressionSet.CanonicalizePath(String path, Boolean needFullPath) at System.Security.Util.StringExpressionSet.CreateListFromExpressions(String[] str, Boolean needFullPath) at System.Security.Permissions.FileIOPermission.AddPathList(FileIOPermissionAccess access, AccessControlActions control, String[] pathListOrig, Boolean checkForDuplicates, Boolean needFullPath, Boolean copyPathList) at System.Security.Permissions.FileIOPermission..ctor(FileIOPermissionAccess access, AccessControlActions control, String[] pathList, Boolean checkForDuplicates, Boolean needFullPath) at System.IO.FileStream.Init(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, Int32 rights, Boolean useRights, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions options, SECURITY_ATTRIBUTES secAttrs, String msgPath, Boolean bFromProxy) at System.IO.FileStream..ctor(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, FileShare share) at System.Net.Mail.AttachmentBase.SetContentFromFile(String fileName, String mediaType) at System.Net.Mail.AttachmentBase..ctor(String fileName) at System.Net.Mail.Attachment..ctor(String fileName) at DotNetNuke.Services.Mail.Mail.b__4(String attachment) at System.Linq.Enumerable.WhereSelectArrayIterator`2.MoveNext() at System.Collections.Generic.List`1..ctor(IEnumerable`1 collection) at System.Linq.Enumerable.ToList[TSource](IEnumerable`1 source) at DotNetNuke.Services.Mail.Mail.SendMail(String mailFrom, String mailTo, String cc, String bcc, String replyTo, MailPriority priority, String subject, MailFormat bodyFormat, Encoding bodyEncoding, String body, String[] attachments, String smtpServer, String smtpAuthentication, String smtpUsername, String smtpPassword, Boolean smtpEnableSSL) at DotNetNuke.Services.Mail.Mail.SendMail(String mailFrom, String mailTo, String cc, String bcc, MailPriority priority, String subject, MailFormat bodyFormat, Encoding bodyEncoding, String body, String attachment, String smtpServer, String smtpAuthentication, String smtpUsername, String smtpPassword, Boolean smtpEnableSSL) at DotNetNuke.Services.Mail.Mail.SendMail(String mailFrom, String mailTo, String cc, String bcc, MailPriority priority, String subject, MailFormat bodyFormat, Encoding bodyEncoding, String body, String attachment, String smtpServer, String smtpAuthentication, String smtpUsername, String smtpPassword) at DataSprings.Modules.DynamicForms.DynamicForms.ProcessEvents(Boolean blnRedirectOnly, Boolean blnPaymentGateway, String strPaymentStatus, String strResponseID, Int32 intPaymentUserID, Boolean blnSaveForLater) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

    Hi Mike,

The only requirement would be that the PDF event should have a lower sort order than the email events. For example, the PDF event can have a sort order of 0 and the email events can all have sort order 1. That way, the PDF is created first before the emails are sent out.

If you have it set up this way and problem persists, can you please tell us:

    1. Your exact Dynamic Forms version
    2. Your DNN version
    3. Does it work if you only match the PDF to one email event?

    Thanks!

Yes - There was a bug reported on earlier versions of Dynamic Forms (should not be in the most recent patch though) where the module would error if you were trying to use the PDF in two email attachments. This was fixed though so as long as you are on the most recent version you should be ok.

    Thanks,

    -Chad

    Thanks for the responses...

    1)Ver:4.10.0.5601

    2) 6.2.0

    3) Yes...matching to one email event works fine. The PDF event does have a lower sort order than the email events.

    Hi MIke,

Please log into your DNN Store account and access the latest v4.1.4 from Patches (OR from MyDownloads if you have the Collection 5.0)

Let us know if that clears the issue for you. Thanks!
