I want to grab the current page name (preferably TabName, not TabID), stick it in a hidden field and then pass it to the next page via querystring parameter after the form submits. Is this possible? If so, can you please walk me through how to get the TabName into the hidden field on page load? Not sure if this is something for tokens, javascript or SQL.

Ultimately, I want to solve this problem: My not-so-tech-savy client manages the site themselves and has a simple "contact us" form on multiple pages (in a side bar). We currently only have it on a few pages, so we created a unique thank you page for each form instance to redirect to after form submission (for Google Analytics purposes). Now, they want the same form on every page of the site, so I'm trying to figure out a way to use the same form (share existing module) and one single thank you page...but pass along the referring page name in the querystring, so that Google can see where each form submission is coming from. Hopefully I'm not going about this the wrong way.

    Thanks a bunch!

Either that, or figure out how to have Google track the form submission while staying on the same page. When I use the "Display After Save Message", it is nice that the user isn't redirected off of the page...but I can't figure out how to get Google to track it...thus the messy thank you page solution I mentioned above.

I found some mentions of using "trackPageview" code in the "Display After Save Message". If that is the approach I should be taking, do you have any examples or guidance how to accomplish this? Sorry for the wordiness of all this. haha

    Hello LP,

You should be able to add a Hidden field to your Dynamic Form. This hidden field will use a SQL Driven query to generate a default value. Here's the SQL Query you could use:

Select TabName As DefaultValue from Tabs where TabID = '$(TabID)'

If you receive an error, it's becuase your database has an object qualifier. If this works, then you should be able to easily use the Pass Value to Querystring variable for this Hidden field.

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,

    Ryan
