Picture three listboxes in the same row of a form. Going left to right, the first listbox (Called Parents) is used to choose a UserID, the second listbox (Called Children) is used to choose a second userID . At that point the user will click the submit link and a SQL stored procedure will add a record in a links table including these two userids. All this works.

The third listbox shows the records in the links table that include the UserID chosen in the first Listbox. Its data source is a stored procedure that gets the UserID criteria from the first ListBox Like  EXEC GetLinks $(ParentsUserID).

The issue is, I need the third list box to be requeried after the form is submitted so that it shows all the matching links that were just added on the form submit.

I have a question event set to unhide the Links Listbox when the Parents listbox is changed. This effectively requeries the Links listbox when the Parents Listbox is changed, but it is not triggering a requery after the form is submitted. What is the trick?

    Thanks for your ideas.

    Hello Whetstone,

Using multiple form submissions on a form will require a couple steps.

I would probably redirect to the same page after form submission and pass a unique value(one to gain access to your previous submissions via SQL), along with a querystring parameter that passes the value "True".

Use Initial SQL Binding to bind all previous submission information to your form using the unique querystring parameter that you've passed in via URL.

Let me know if this gets you on the right track.

    Thanks,

    Ryan
