Question Event based on Checkbox Group bug

    Hello,
    I'm running DNN 7 and DF 4.1. I setup a question event to display a hidden text box based on a response to another question.  The field type of the question that toggles the textbox visibility is a Checkbox Group.  For some reason this field type doesn't show the text box when the correct option is selected.  If I change the field type to radio buttons, or a combobox then the question event fires as expected.  Can this not be done with a checkbox group? Does it need to be a field where only 1 response can be selected?

    Hi Josh - So, do you basically have an option within the question event such as "Other" and when you check "Other" you want the textbox to appear under it however it is not doing that?

    Hi Chad,

    Yes, I have my form setup exactly how you described it.  If I change the field type to a combo box, for example, the question event works just fine.

    Hi Josh - This issue is on our list to review. I do know if you can easily replicate/duplicate this quickly on our Beta Springs DNN 7 website we should be able to get a patch out quicker.

    You can do this if you go to http://dnn7.betasprings.com and sign in as host/dnnhost. If you can replicate a simple example of this problem there we should be able to review why this is not working. We are working on several new bugs related to DNN 7 and our modules and should be able to add this to our list to review as well. Thank you for your patience, DNN 7 is very new and we are still discovering a few tweaks that are necessary for full compatibility with all of our module features.
