On our DR page I have been passing the Option Text to our database instead of the value. For some odd reason, it stopped working and won't pass anything to the export. I'm frustrated.....as this has been working for over two years and just decided to quit (most likely when I upgraded). I've searched for the solution to no avail. Could someone please help?

I'm trying to: Use a radio button. Members select the membership type, fill in information, and go to PayPal. PayPal works, but I need for the text option to be saved to the database - not the value (since two membership types are the same price).

For instance, the user selects Individual Membership ($30). The value is 30.00 but I need for the text "Individual Membership ($30)" to show up in the database. I've made sure that the Update Option Text is correct and the Update Option Value is 30.00. Along with that, the DNN core field is selected.

    DNN: 06.02.05
    DR: 4.20.20

    Thanks for the help.

    Hi Wilmsab,

This can be done but with a client side event on your radio button. First, create a textbox field that you can call something like $(MemAmount). Then, edit your radio button so that the option values are the same as the option text. From here, you can javascript to your radio button's client side event to say something like "If $(Membership) = Something, then $(MemAmount) = 10.00... etc. Not a javascript expert but you should be able to look up examples online.

Once you can confirm that your client side event is correctly populating the $(MemAmount) field, you can switch this from a textbox to a hidden field type. Then use this field to pass the value to PayPal (instead of the radio button).

    Thanks!
    Candace
