    I am using Dynamic Login module since Dec. 2010 (Ver 3.5) in our internal website (DNN version 5.6). It is working well.

    But suddenly in this morning, the login page shows 'Initial Setting layout page of Dynamic Login module' asking we need to set up this module instead of showing our normal login page then nobody could not login.

    So I did login as administrator through another dnn default login page of our website and opened the setup page of Dynamic Login module page. But I did not do anything else.

    Then suddenly our normal login page started to work again as usual.

    I don't know why. So as one of possibilities, just in case, I am wondering this module is always checking the module license through online? Or is there another reason of this happening?

    Hi Young,

    Although we do regularly check licenses, we generally don't shut down a module without first contacting the customer so this would not have been the case. I'm not sure yet what may have triggered this but it's hard to point to it at this time.

    Please keep an eye on it and see if it happens again and maybe we can try to duplicate it. It might also be a good idea to check in Admin > Event Viewer to see if any errors were logged that are related to this.

    It is very weird. It looks current configuration looks normal but the dynamic login module is not working. It works like there is no module now. It just work like just regular login function.

    In this case, should I install again or is there any other way to refresh the module to work again?

    Can you please make sure that

    1) you have both Dynamic Login and the DNN Login module on the same page;
    2) that the DNN login module is visible to admin only while DL is visible to all users; and
    3) in the Admin tab, Site Settings, this page is assigned as the login page?
