    Hi,
I'm new to Dynamic Forms - can anyone please advise whether there is built-in configuration within the module for adding a "Cancel" or a "Back" button alongside the "Submit" button for the user to abandon adding a new entry and return to the previous page - I can't find anything currently.

    Thanks in advance,

    Tony

    Hello Tony,

If you go to Module Configuration -> LINKS (SUBMIT, SAVE FOR LATER, CLEAR), you can utilize a Clear button, which is similar to an HTML Reset Button type.

Unfortunately, there's not a direct feature that incorporates a Back or Cancel button.

However the most important part is:

What is the Back or Cancel button supposed to do?

1.) Redirect the User to the Previous Page they were on before coming to this Dynamic Form.
2.) Redirect the User to a specific page?

Regardless, you can add a new Question type of Text/HTML in your Dynamic Form and configure it to work as you need.

You'll provide the HTML to generate the button as well as incorporate JavaScript into the OnClick event of the button to accomplish the actions needed.

I would recommend taking a look at this blog post as it may assist you with the steps that you'll need to take to achieve this functionality:

Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,

    Ryan
