We are using DotNetNuke 6.2.3.with Dynamic Forms Ver:4.10.0.5601.

Our skin uses HTML Tables for the layout.

When we access the admin/configuration section of dynamic forms, the layout is displayed with large gaps.  When viewing the source code, it appears that dynamic forms may have improperly closed html tags.

    Please advise.

Can someone at DataSprings confirm this error?

    Please advise.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

We have not had other users report this problem before... Can you please attach a screenshot of where you see this? Do you have this problem with other HTML skins or the standard DNN skin? Any idea what specific area does not have the proper closing tags?

    Thanks,

    Chad

    Hi Chad,

I've attached a screenshot of what is happening to the layout ONLY when we go into the Dynamic Forms Admin interface.

Also... I've gone through the source code and I've found the following:
Note <> have been removed to prevent the editor from converting these lines to html...

    div id="dynamicformssettingsdiv" align="left"
         div id="dnn_ctr1166_DynamicQuestions_UpdatePanelModuleConfig"
               -- Properly nested code here
        /td
    /tr

You can see that it is expecting a closing div, but the next closing tag is for a table cell.  I believe this type of thing is happening elsewhere throughout the code as well.

    Please advise.

    Hi!

I checked this and this panel is in the .ascx control as a ASP.NET Update Panel (which then renders out onto a DIV). A few general comments though...

    1. There is A LOT of "properly" nested code in between there and any ending code... This panel basically wraps everything into this update panel. I did find the ending content template / asp.net panel tags... So whatever problem is happening is happening somewhere in between and not this specific panel that renders to a DIV.

    2. We have Dynamic Forms 5.0 that has a completely new UI (no tables, all using DNN 6/7 UI standards) that is similar to Dynamic Registration 5.0. So... If you can wait until July and work around whatever issue you are running into this problem will likely fix itself.

    Thanks,

    Chad
