Here's a new one. Take another Tylenol then see if this makes sense.
Using a table, with things and categories for example.
Question 1, combobox populated with an SQL query of table1, Selection sets $variable1. (select columnA as questionoption from db.dbo.table1). Returns a list of 'things'. Works fine.
Quesiton 2, questionevent listbox populated with an SQL query of table1, using $variable1 and sets $variable2. (select columnB as questionoption from db.dbo.table1 where columnA=$variable1) . Returns a single 'category' from columnB for the 'thing' selected. Works fine.
Question 3, questionevent listbox populated with an SQL query of table1, using $variable2. (select columnA as questionoption from db.dbo.table1 where columnB=$variable2). Should return a list of other 'things' that are in the selected 'category'. It returns some selected records but NOT the ones in 'categoryA' for instance, rather it returns a list of 'things' in 'categoryB' for some reason.
The result should be:
Thing: Category: All things in Category
WidgetA Widgets WidgetA, WidgetB, WidgetC
What the result actually is:
Thing: Category: All things in Category
WidgetA Widgets GizmoA, GizmoB, GizmoC
It appears that the second variable is getting corrupted (padded) somehow and simply pulling the wrong 'set' of records. In the above example, 3 Gizmos appear from the Gizmos category rather than the 3 Widgets. It's like it wants to pull the 3 records you ask for, but it's requesting the NEXT 3... as if the query is 'counting' the number of matching records (3), then requesting the records (start at row 4, get next 3). It's been pretty consistent so far. If the matching records come from rows 5,6,7 I get returned data from 8,9,10.
