    Hi Grant,

Based on the error  "A column named 'Email' already belongs to this DataTable,."  it sounds like you may have attempted to add an email field to the user profile?  Since email is already a set profile and credential field in the DNN core, trying to add one again is causing a conflict.

You can use the core email field in your User Directory.  However, if you want to use a 2nd email field, you will need to give it another label (maybe Personal Email or Email 2).

If you really need to use the label 'email' for your field, you can modify a query to override the core email.

I hope these options help to resolve this situation.  Thanks.

    Candace

In reading your response to the issue, I was wondering if there could be another reason for the error. An additional email field has never been added in my case, yet I still get the error?

    Hi Stephen,

When you manage the email field and go to Advanced Field Option, is it tied to a DNN Core property here? Since email is a credential, this section should be left at 'select DNN core field.' Can you make sure of this setting and try your test again? Also, please verify that there is no duplicate 'email' profile property in there. You can find this in Admin, User Accounts, Manage Profile Properties. Thanks!

    Hi Candace,

I checked the registration form and it was set to point to a default of "DNN Core Fields". I have since changed it to point specifically to "email" and it still doesn't seem to go. I did check the profile properties and there is only one 'email' listed.

    Thanks,
    Stephen
