Thanks for your enhancement request. Right now you can add javascript client side events to any field during onblur or onkeyup, keypress etc... You can also make use of the 'form load' initial javascript function but unfortunatly there is not currently a 'on form submit' javascript function routine that exists. We are reviewing adding this to the next release.
For now - as a work around, you can modify the DynamicForms.ascx file in the DesktopModules\Dynamic Forms directory.
Within this file you will see the link button (or image, html input button depending on your settings) and can add the function call there:
<asp:linkbutton id="lnkSave" runat="server">Save linkbutton id="lnkSave" runat="server"
As a property, you can add the attribute right next to ID="lnkSave" called OnClientClick, such as:
OnClientClick="Alert('TEST ME');
I cannot confirm however that this javascript routine will cause the form to still not postback and cause the form to submit.
