alignment problem with the labels and buttons

    Hi,

    I want the following format

    [label] [textbox] [button]

    but now it is displayed as

    [label] [textbox] [label] [button]

    i have used the html button .

    How to remove the label option before the button and remove those unwanted spaces.

    I removed the unwanted spaces of the label but still there are spaces in that how to remove it

    Sherlock,

    Hi. Go under the field settings section for 'Look and Feel' and check the box to 'Hide field label'. Does this fix you up?

    Chad,
    I checked the box and it didn't show the button's label but there are still some spaces between the textbox and the button. How to remove it.

    Hi. Do the spaces go away when you change the mode to 'view mode'? Can you attach a screenshot here or 'Export Content' and 'Import Content' onto a page on Beta Springs. More than likely this is a stylesheet class or an issue with the field width of the field/form stretching.

    There are some spaces even when viewed to the View mode

    Hi. Ok, well you have a few options here.

    1. Under module configuration, stylesheet you can define the width of the main table that the form is using. Its currently set to 100% which is why its expanding all that way, if you move it to another container that is smaller it would also come in closer.
    2. The other option (which I probably like better but a little sneaky ) is to create another field that is a text/HTML field and choose to 'Add field to same row as previous question', making the sort order after the button. Within this HTML area you could create a hidden table with a width of 200 or something. What this will do is allow the form to still have a width of 100% but push that field over further to the left.

    Hi. When you go into the module configuration, stylesheet, are you using the custom stylesheet? If so what is the stylesheet class set to for the main table? Specifically, what is the 'Width' set to? Can you attach a screenshot of what this is set to within the stylesheet?

    Also, as another work around you could maybe add a Text/HTML field after the HTML Input button and just make the text a blank table with an empty border. choose the option to 'Display field on same row as previous question' and what this should do is allow you to force the button over. The bigger the hidden table is in the text/html field the closer the button should be pushed towards the other fields.
