Hi Guys

Me again. I've got my DR and DUD(Dynamic User Directory)  installed and working.

With DUD I want to only display users from a Role Competitors that are authorized. I have the whole authorized checkbox in DR and its working. I only need to filter users that are competitors and authorized to display.

I've added a data filter in the DUD settings to filter Authorize contain Yes. but nothing appears. I have authorized users in the directory.

Hi. Thanks for your comments. A new feature has been added to the upcoming 2.5 release of Dynamic User Directory (finished and on Beta Springs right now, just awaiting documentation to be completed) which allows you to exclude users who are not 'authorized' in the directory. Thanks again for your feedback, I am surprised this has not come up before.

Hi Chad thats great news.

Just one thing I would like to bring to your attention with the current version of DUD and DR. I give a user role called Site Administrator the rights to Manage Users in DR. A site administrator can update the users details and authorize them.

Then when the user comes to update his details, The value of his Authorize Field gets removed out of the DynamicRegistration_QuestionResponse table. Its still kept in the core DNN field but gets removed out of the table above. So if I have question events that i.e adds them to different groups if they authorized they get removed from those groups when they update because of the there value of the authorize field is lost. They stay authorized tho. When the Site administrator comes backs and just updates the users details, the value of this authorize field gets inserted back into he above table. The authorize field is obviously hidden from the user using the hide from role feature in DR.

Sorry I know this is a DR problem not DUD.

I think it might be a bug. Let me know what you think and if you understand what I have explained to you.

We bought the datasprings module collection pack (+20) about a month ago off snowcovered and was wondering if we qualify for any upgrades done to modules recently e.g the Dynamic User Directory etc.

Hi. Yes, with the module collection we will always post all new module releases and module updates (should post by end of day tomorrow). Basically the collection package is as close as we get to a subscription, we release 1-2 collection packages a year and you receive a 70% discount per upgrade to upgrade to the latest collection package once its released.
