Sorry if the answer to this one is RTFM, but is it possible to have a textbox appear (or not) depending on a listbox selection? E.g., The listbox has a bunch of items, including "other". If "other" is selected in the listbox, a textbox should appear for input from the user.

The current release of Dynamic Registratoin does not support listbox's for postback/initial question of question events. Right now it only supports combo box's, radio buttons, and checkbox's etc... You could change the question to be a combo box and have an 'Other' option in the combo box where the user could choose other and enter an option but not the multi select listbox at this time. Some of this is due to how we will implement it in the future. For example, if they click Other it would display another textbox but what if you wanted them to select all three or two of three items before displaying the next field etc... We are working on how best to bring these into the question events enhancements (which is very popular so I am sure we will) but its not there yet...

Hi. I don't believe checkbox is one of the field types for DNN Core Integration but this can probably be added. I think initially it wasn't an option because DNN didn't have the ability to have extended fields that were checkbox field types but now they do.

On the validation issue. Make sure you have 'Server Side Validation' turned on under general settings. Certain required field validators require server side validation and I believe this is one of them.
