    I am looking for options to improve my ability to provide data to my cstomers collected via Dynamic Forms 3.0.  

    Is it possible to tweak the export formatting for all records?   As a second option, is there any sample SQL code to extract all records for a specific Form so that I could generate Excel layouts that are more tailored to statistical analysis?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi, can you give an example of how you want the export to look like (ie. rows, columns, heading, you know the template that you like to see it in). Currently, I don't see a way of creating custom template for the export to excel feature other than rewriting the code for exporting.

    As for creating an SQL statement to create the list of results submitted by a user, yes this can be done. There are two major tables you want to query against (DynamicForms_Question and DynamicForms_QuestionResponse).
    Table DynamicForms_Question(dynamicquestionid,question,portalid,moduleid,shortfieldname)
    DynamicForms_QuestionResponse(dynamicquestionid,response,userid).
    If your DF form is on portal 0, have a moduleid = 20 and you want to obtain information that userid = 10 submitted, try this sql statement:

    select DFQ.question,DFQ.moduleID,DFQ.shortfieldname,DFQR.Response,DFQR.UserID from DynamicForms_Question DFQ inner join DynamicForms_QuestionResponse DFQR on DFQ.DynamicQuestionID = DFQR.DynamicQuestionID where DFQ.portalID = 0 and DFQ.moduleID = 20 and DFQR.UserId = 10

    I am working to design the Excel output structure, but dont have it ready yet.

    I appreciate the quick response though, it may be best for me to utilize the SQL approach to just generate an output dataset.   It will be something that needs to be pulled on a regular basis, so this might be a great help.

    I will let you know when I get a chance to try this.
