    When I send an email in text format the following code is added to the body of the email: <Base Href='www.mywebsite.co.za'>.  I suspect this is causing problems when the recipient server tries to import and read the email. Is it possible to remove this?

    Hi David, very strange. I don't understand why it would add that to the body of the email. In your email completion event, if you click on "Source" of the Rich Text Editor, do you see that in the email body somewhere? Is this a website that you included in your email body and it automatically added the "Base" keyword? -- David

    No - the rogue code is not in the source of my email (see below).

    [Instructions]

    Password=videl

    [Data]

    Company=$(Company)

    Contact=$(Contact)

    Could this be related to the way the email is rendered (i.e. multipart/alternative - as opposed to text)?

    Is it possible to force the email to be rendered as text?

    Is this coming from Dynamic Forms? I know that

    Also, DNN and I think their main Bulk Email tool I believe does add this line within emails. This is because images and so forth are saved with relative paths, so if an email include /portals/0/datasprings.gif it wouldn't work but if the base href was there it would render such as datasprings.com/portals/0/datasprings.gif.

    Just to confirm though, this is coming from Dynamic Forms?

    Yes, the email is being sent using a dynamic forms completion event. I am using the basic text view and rendering the email as text. The DNN portal version is 4.9.5

    Hi David... I was able to verify that the BASE HREF is also rendering when the module is in both Text and HTML mode and I think this could cause a problem with some email apps. Even though the email is being sent as 'text' since the email application see's html then it adds that. I have updated the code for the upcoming 3.3 release (should be next week) and this code should only include the base href if the email event is setup for HTML mode and not Text mode. This code is there so that if images are included they will appear within the email, otherwise images don't work because the Rich Text Editor saves them with a relative path and not an absolute path.
