Hello All
I recently ran into a problem that has not come up before. My dynamic order form (for purchasing) will not redirec to the paypal page for final purchase.

I have verified the paypal email login name is correct. The paypal gateway is set to "Yes." The URL is set to "production." The paypal payment status for completion events is set to "completed (standard)."
It worked in the past....
thanks! |

Hi. When you say 'It worked n the past,' do you mean it worked in the Sandbox environment but will not work in production? Or do you mean it used to work in production and now it stopped?
A few areas to check:
1. If you disable the payment gateway, will the form submit properly?
2. If you enable debug mode and run a test, can you please confirm that all variables are passing with the right values?
3. I know you said that the paypal email login is correct. Can you please check again and make sure there are no extra characters at the end? The box is pretty short so please scroll to the end to check.
4. Is the transaction type set to Purchase?
Thanks and let me know what you find.

Thanks for the responses. Your response to #1 is my first concern at this time. You said it won't submit properly even when the payment gateway is off. That tells me that the problem is not related to paypal. So, while the gateway is off, what happens when you submit ? Do you get an error message? Or does it just sit there?
Do you have required fields or any other validation?

Hi. I don't really get much info from this but looking at your original post, I find this:
InnerException: The specified string is not in the form required for an e-mail address.
Can you please enable the PayPal gateway again, then enable debug again, run a test and give me the resulting PayPal string. Thanks!

Thanks for the debug info. A few things I notice here:
1. This may be the culprit: ¤cy_code=USD (right after the email address). This is likely the reason why you get this in your original error:
Message: System.FormatException: The specified string is not in the form required for an e-mail address.at
Please check your PayPal parameters in Module Configuration and make sure that it say ¤cy_code=USD Test after you make this correction and let us know if it works for you.
2. Also, I noticed that you're on Dynamic Forms 2.7.4. I will recommend you upgrade to the latest version which is Dynamic Forms 3.3 to make sure you have all the features and fixes.
Thanks,
Candace |

My parameters are set like this:
&first_name=$(FirstNa)&last_name=$(LastNam)&email=$(EmailAd)¤cy_code=USD&amount=$(CalculateListleases)&item_name=$(Pleases_Text)
&city=$(City)&state=$(State)&zip=$(Zip)
Is the upgrade free?
Thanks |

Based on our Upgrade Policy, you will automatically get a 10% discount when you upgrade from v2.7 to Dynamic Forms 3.3. I would highly recommend this. Meanwhile, can you please remove the asterisk from the item name?
Also, can you tell me again if you're getting an error message or if it just hangs there? I believe you said that the form does not submit even when the payment gateway is disabled. Is that correct?
