I have seen several posts on this topic within the forums, but nothing that actually fixes the issue.

I have a form with both a header and footer slice and a repeating background image on the form to make it all nice and pretty.  The issue I am having is that there is a space between the header and the form as well as the form and the footer.

    I have tried removing the

tags, writing in a custom class in the stylesheet remove borders, padding, margins and line spacing and still no luck.  I am running ver. 3.40.1.0 of dynamic forms.  Any advice would be helpful as I'm about to just write the form/table myself and save the time.

    Thanks
    Rob

Hi. If you actually view the HTML Source is there a line break tag there or maybe a paragraph tag?

I see that there is a

tag there, but how do I get rid of it... As you can see on the footer example, I tried to add a custom class and still no luck... Everytime I edit the header it re-adds the paragraph tag.

Well, I think this is something the editor adds in directly (we don't really control that but I do know different editors add in their own tags and thats frustrating). My best suggestion would be to choose 'Basic Textbox' when saving your header/footer. When you use the basic textbox you can remove the

tags and so forth and when it saves it should not add them back. I would try that first.

    Thanks,

    Chad

Unfortunately I have already tried that, and there is still a small maybe 2px space between the header and the form background... The background I have set to repeat-x in the custom css and it seems to be working fine.  The odd part is I can edit the header (by clicking the pencil on the main viewpoint, not within the settings, in edit mode) and it seems fine and then reappears when I save.

Hi. Well I would have to take a look at the full source but it could be something else such as cell spacing/padding etc... We try to include as many CSS Stylesheet Classes as possible to modify but if you need some more style options directly you would have to possibly modify the ASCX file. I would have to look at the source HTML directly within an application like dreamweaver or something though to see what its there.
