    I have the following problem.

I would like to have a combo box with 4 fields.

These 4 fields will be used for data.

For example, a user will select:

    ·         Data “ ΑΑΑΑΑ ” in Field1

    ·         Data “ ΒΒΒΒΒ ” in Field2

    ·         Data “CCCCC” in Field3

    ·         Data “DDDDD” in Field4

I would     like by selecting     each option     from the above     fields, to     display below the combobox     the     message that corresponds to the chosen field, and thiswill     be    different     for     each option  .

    How can I do this?

    Hello Elias,

You can do this by adding a
tag into the Footer of your Combo box.

Then have an On client side event for the same combo box that will use the:

    document.getElementById('theIdofTheDivTag').innerHTML = 'Here is the text that you will display and it will change based on the selection' + $(ComboBoxTokenName);

    I hope this helps.

If you have any questions please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Ryan

    Hello Elias,

It seems that the tag I specified to use got lost in my last post.

SO I wanted you to put a DIV tag in the footer of your combobox.

Then repeat the steps I stated above. Try selecting a field and then tab out of the field to see if the on client side event takes place.

If you have any questions please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Ryan

    Hello Ryan

I can not understand that I am wrong.  Although I put the tags DIV, still do not save .

    Would you assist me?

    Client side event:

document.getElementByld('theldofTheDivTag').innerHTML='Here is the text that you will change'+$(ComboBoxTokenName

Question footer: still do not save. Do not save even with tags.
