Is there any way to manipulate the typical form results page you get?

To be clear, I'm not talking about an individual form result (where you would click "View Results" link, etc.), I'm talking about the actual page that will show all the form listings and where you can search by filter.

For example, is there a way to add another column to the listings, such as a Last Name Field, to display along with the standard "View Results", "Delete", "Edit", and "Create Copy" links/options?

Let me know if I need to clarify anything.

    Much thanks for any insight,
    Jack

    Hello Jack,

It sounds like you're inquiring about a Reporting module that allows you to manage your results. If this is the case, Dynamic Views works great with Dynamic Forms.

You can hook a Dynamic View into the Dynamic Form submission results. I would recommend downloading a free trial of Dynamic Views:

Take a look at this demonstration of Dynamic Forms and Dynamic Views:

You'll find more demonstrations of various things with Dynamic Forms here:

Let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,

    Ryan

    Hi Jack,

From the View Form Results itself, you can add a column that helps in identifying the record. Please go to the Control Panel, Module Configuration, and the select a Summary Field under General Configuration. Then, go back to the View Form Results and you should see that column added.

I like to use Last Name or Company as the summary field. At this time, though, you can only add that one column.

    Hope that helps, thanks!

Thanks Candance, that answered my question.

To go further with that, is there any way to change that auto-generated header after you apply the Summary Field to say something other than "Summary"?

    Much thanks...

And I'd love for functionality to be added in future relases if you can add multiple Summary Fields in the standard View Forms Results pages if it can be done realistically.

EDIT:  Thanks Ryan - we actually have Dynamics Views installed where I work, but I haven't really worked with it much yet - but this is something I likely will soon experiment with for my own curiosity as well as good internal company research time for future client projects.

Hi Jack - Just a quick follow up here.

    1. Yes, Dynamic Views would for sure be something you wanted to check out. This module can have direct integration with a specific module instance of Dynamic Forms and at the same time, the options to allow for many search fields, customized template of the results and gridview or HTML view etc..

    2. You can change the word "Summary" under Admin, Languages if you edit the language pack and drill down into DesktopModules\Dynamic Forms\App_LocalResources directory. You can also modify this file within notepad if you would like if you have FTP access to the files. You would want to modify ViewFormResults.ascx.resx. I do believe this would change throughout all instances of the module though and not specifically just this module instance.

    Thanks!

    -Chad
