Dear all,
I have been struggling for a while to find a way to get a list of the web-applications(portal sites) present in a SharePoint Server. I can get a list of the site-collections(top-level sites) present inside a web-application(portal site) by using STSADM.EXE( ... -o enumsites -url ). But before proceeding to list the site-collections, I need to get a list of the web-applications present in a server. I wish to get them programmatically and not by going to the central administration or IIS or somewhere through Windows UI! So, can any of you please help me on this issue.
1) Is there a way to get web-applications list by using a command, or querying registry or querying database or someting similar?
2) Any API or component object is available to accomplish my requirement? (for C++)
