    Hi guys... I  wanted to post some information if you use custom security files / custom security levels within SharePoint and use our web parts. If you do not use custom security you can just set the security to WSS_Medium but if you are using a custom security policy here are some additional security you need to add:

    Using custom security policy level for our web parts...

    Our web parts require that the trust level be set to WSS_Medium within the web.config however we have had many clients inform us that they need a solution for custom files (as other web parts require custom).

    All Data Springs web parts requires these additional security classes:

    All web parts require this permission set within the config file:

                                        version="1"
                                        ObjectModel="True"
                                />

    The stock quote web part requires these additional security classes added to the custom security file.

    The stock quote web part requires this IPERMISSION:

                                        class="EnvironmentPermission"
                                        version="1"
                                        Read="TEMP;TMP;USERNAME;OS;COMPUTERNAME"
                                />

    The above post appears as gibberish.

    Example: All Data Springs web parts requires these additional security classes:

    This is followed by a bunch of white space. So are some of the others, showing incomplete node definitions. Could you clear this one up so I can get the Stock Quote web part working. The fiddling around is starting to drive me up the wall.
