    I have 3 roles defined.
    1. Agent
    2. Company
    3. Client

I can set the CLIENT Role to redirect to HOME page, no problem.

For the AGENT and COMPANY Role, I set it to direct to PAGE1 page.

When I log in as CLIENT or AGENT role, the redirects work accordingly.  But when I log in as COMPANY role, it redirects to a HOME page, the same page as CLIENT role.  It shoudnt do that, it should redirect to PAGE1 page.

When, I look in my SECURITY ROLE RULES | ROLE NAME:
CLIENT's URL is set to 40 (HOME), PRIORITY is 0
AGENT's URL is set to 79 (PAGE1), PRIORITY is 0
COMPANY's URL is set to 79 (PAGE1), PRIORITY is 0

I see a note: If you are setting up multiple security role rules, YOU MUST define unique priority levels such as 100, 200, 300, etc...

So if I change the COMPANY's PRIORITY to 10, then when I log in as COMPANY, then it redirects properly to PAGE1.

Why do I have to change priority for the COMPANY role? Is it because I have multiple roles going to the same URL?

Thoughts?  I just need a better understanding of this.

HI, setting a unique priority for each role redirection event is how the programming code logic is written at the moment. We can review the code for future enhancement to allow identical priority numbers if necessary although this would be possibly not yield any enhancements to the functionality of the program. -- David

So in the future, if I have multiple roles going to the same URL,  regardless who I set first, a distinct priority number in ascending order must be assign.  Correct?

I assume it doesnt cause a delay in redirection on the USER end, so to speak.  It would be relatively transparent.

Hi, yes it is relatively transparent. -- David
