Got a wierd one I think and I cn't wrap my head around it.
We have a pulldown called "membership" which has the following text/value entries
Annual/300
Quarter/200
Monthly/100
this pulldown is based on a SQL query and populates the values of each membership type, the values are actually the $amount they will be charged..
We have a 3completion events that add the role and expiration date of that role based on the selection.... all that is working...
here's the curveball... the values returned (currently 300/200/100) will vary based on input from previous questions. The SQL statement that pulls the values for the dropdown actually calculates the value based on 20 other questions prior to reaching this form... so one time the values may be 300/200/100, another time it may be 250/150/50 and another time it may be 345/275/137... there is no real way to add a completion event based on each one.
The only thing that remains the same is the text on each option. Apparently the completion event for role looks at the value stored, not the text so it won't work in this scenario...
so now I'm looking for ideas on a way to work around this. |
