Licensing issue with Dynamic Registration

    Hi,

    We have purchased data springs Dynamic Registration module; we received 2 zip files one with installable zip and another source code as "18836_16234_DataSprings_DynamicViews_V21_ModuleSourceCode_ReviewLicenseBeforeUnzipping"

    We have installed dynamic registration version 04_01_43 provided all licensing info and it is working fine for us.

    Last week we have updated this module from source code which we have, for the functionality of Manage users; as paging is not working. We have build DLL and deployed on server; got following error.
    Note: This is a trial version of Dynamic Registration. To purchase the module you can visitwww.datasprings.com or view other DotNetNuke Modules.

    Have questions? Post them to our product forums for Dynamic Registration.

    Can you please verify this issue and provide us solution for this ASAP?  
    We need to move changes immediately on production.

    Hi Kishan - This happens if you do not update a boolean value within the module source code. There is a boolean value called blnTrial which is probably set to True. Sometimes the trial version is the last build we do when we compile the source code. So, it sounds like maybe you need to set this value to false when you recompile it. If you search for blnTrial in the main DynamicRegistration.ascx.vb file you will see at the top of the page where this value is being set.

    Yes I got that blnTrial, I will update that part and recompile it again.

    Can you please confirm me in Dynamic registration module, in manage user section why paging part is not supported completely ?

    Can you also confirm with me, there will not be any other issue will occur after recompiling this dll and deploying on server?

    Hi Kishan,

    There are some bugs right now with how paging works within that area... So I am not sure yet what the specific bugs are but I do know that we plan to have these fixed for the 4.2 release which is currently in Beta and scheduled for release by the end of March.

    As far as I know there should not be any other issues after you recompile the DLL. Generally speaking I always recommend that you always take the user controls (ASCX files) from the installation file in case there were any changes. Within our solutions of Visual Studio we usually only modify the .vb files and not the .ascx files.
