I want to hide a question but the checkbox will not save 'hide from anonymous users' after I check it and update the field.

However, when I log out, the field is indeed hidden. When I look at the setting again the tick is not in the checkbox and checking back on the front end the field is showing again.

This will be a major issue for the website and feels like it's a major problem - how can it not save my choices? It will also not save hiding from any roles as well.

1. Is this a bug?

2. If I upgrade to version 2.7 - does this remove/alter my existing questions/set up?

Note: I have tried this on a simple 3 field form and the form will not save my selection to hide a field from anonymous users.

Is my form corrupted somehow?

?Now I'm really confused as I've discovered the 'hide from' checkboxes are not saved on Betasprings either. ??

Thanks Chad, all good, this problem was a blessing in disguise as it  forced me to address the usability of my set up from a business point of view and to remember the KISS principle - Keep It Simple Stupid.

The flexibility of these forms also means there is always a way round everything!

With your help on hiding from roles - I assume though that hiding from registered users (technically a role) still does process the field? (I can test this after I've had my morning coffee).

I was a bit baffled as to what would be the point of having a field  hidden from a role but not saved to the database but I am guessing this is still a useful feature when you simply want to gather information via a dynamic email.
